So Ready For the Weekend!

Hello Everyone!!!
I am so happy it is finally Friday night.
I am so ready for the weekend and 3 days off from work.
I had a good week there, but I'm always happy being at home.

Plus I still have so many things to get done around here.
Now that I am feeling better, hopefully I can get allot accomplished.

I do have a bad paper cut on my typing finger though. :(
I think I got it from one of the dollar bills at work. And OUCH! it really hurts!!! LOL!

Wednesday night we got our first snow fall here in Southern IL.
I think around 5".
But for some insane reason they didn't cancel schools on Thursday.
Completely Stupid, if you ask me.
And some little boy was running to try to catch the bus on that day and ran right out in front of it and was hit.
By the grace of God he is going to be okay.
From what I have heard he only received minor injuries.
Well, needless to say... they canceled school today.
They said it was because of the weather.... but I think it had to do with the accident.
Especially since today's weather was no where near as bad as Thursday.

Work went by pretty quickly today, I am always grateful for that. And I had a pretty good day. But I still seem to come home worn out. I wanted to do some tweaking on some things. I tried earlier but being tired has squashed any inspiration I may have!! So I guess that will have to wait until tomorrow.

I was happy to find a package for me when I arrived home today. It was my goodies I bought from Karen!!! www.kmprimitives.com

I spent some of my first pay check at her fabulous website.
I got this wonderful fabric covered box.

I may move it when I do some tweaking this weekend. But for now I have it sitting in my living room.

I also got these two adorable baskets with flat back cookie cutters attached to the front. I collect these type of cookie cutters and have an old wood bowl filled with them sitting on my stove. So I thought these would look wonderful in my kitchen. Just need to decided how to display them.

Thanks so much Karen, sweetie!!
I love my new goodies!!

I wish I had more exciting things to share with all of you.
But I am afraid my life is quite boring right now!! Hehee!
I get up, take my daughter to school, go to work, come home, watch General Hospital, Cook supper, do some looking around on the Internet and reading some of my favorite blogs, go to bed.... and start it all over the next day.

I am afraid that the most excitement for me lately is, Lucky finding out Nikolas loves Elizabeth.... and waiting for the Elizabeth and Nikolas to be exposed next week!! LMBO!!!
I know, pretty pathetic huh!! LOL!!
If you don't watch GH, you will have no idea what I am taking about!! ;)

Okay ladies, heading off for the night. Going to go spend some time with Hubby.
I will try to get some photos taken over the weekend of anything I do accomplish.

Until then....
Take Care and Prim Filled Blessing to you all!!!
~Tam

Hi Tammy!

Love the things your got in the mail. I love to bake so I think the baskets with the cookie cutters are my favorite.

I grew up in Southern Illinois and now live about 9 miles from Cape Girardeau, Missouri. I saw on the news about that boy getting hit trying to catch the school bus. The stuff is pretty but sure can be dangerous, Hope your staying warm over there! :)

I am a paper pusher where I work so I know all to well how nasty those paper cuts can be! Honestly, I think they hurt more than if you were to stab yourself with a sharp butcher knife!! LOL! I love that fabric covered box! She has some great stuff! Enjoy your weekend.

Donna

Tammy love love love your new goodies!!! I am going to have to hope on over to Karen's site and check it out...TFS it. I know all about being to tired to get things done after work. I always have these BIG intentions to get stuff done on my days off so I can craft but by the time I'm finished catchin' up on the house and everything I feel like I was at work and I'm tired all over again lol. We got 6 inches of snow here and the temps are single digits. Here I sit readin' blogs instead of gettin' in gear and accomplishing something lol. Hope your weekend is off to a wonderful start =)
