A Little This and That…

is what this post is about. :)

It is gorgeous day here is Southern Il.

The sun is shinning and the temps are rising!!!

I think I may finally see an end to the tunnel!!

Is it true…. is this miserable winter almost over!!

Oh please say its so.

I've been seeing in other wonderful blogs posts about Shades Of Brown.

So I thought I would go around my home and take some pictures of the shades of brown.  I never realized how much I must love brown!! :) It is nearly everywhere in some shade or another.

But here is just a sampling of the wonderful shades of brown in my home….

Whew!! And that is just a small sampling. LOL!!

I must really LOVE Brown!!

I also want to say that I’m not sure who originally started the Shades Of Brown posts.

So if you know please leave a comment and let me know.

Because I definitely want to give credit where credit is due for the idea.

My wonderful Herb boxes came in this week.

They are so adorable.

I won them from Where the Rooster Crows blog.

Please stop by and check out her wonderful blog.

Here are my the boxes I won…

Aren't they adorable!!

I have them sitting on my Bakers Cabinet for now.

I may move them into my kitchen, but for now
I like them here.

Thanks so much Holli!! I love them.

Holli also sent me some wonderful hand and body lotions as a surprise.

But I forgot to take pictures of them. :( :)

Has anyone else seen

the giant Fork and Spoons from Pier 1 ??

These are so neat.

I tried to copy the photo to show them off but for some reason it cut the pictures into sections.

Oh well, here is a sampling.

To see the complete advertising photo click on the link above.

I love these.

I know they aren't prim but they are so NEAT!!

Hummm… Maybe I could paint them black!! LOL!!

Who am I kidding though, I will never pay $60 bucks for a giant fork and spoon.

Yes, ON SALE they are $59.99 EACH!!!

Guess, I wont be getting those anytime soon!! LOL!

I also wanted to show all of you the WORLDS UGLIEST Sewing / Computer Room.

Wanna see?

Here it is…

This is my office. It is located in our basement.

I wish I could have a cute prim space like so many others I have seen.

But nope, I have this UGLY room instead.

My hubby bought me these shelving units when we first moved in.

Yes, they are awesome for storage.  And the counter tops are wonderful for packaging and weighing, cutting and sewing.

But they are just so darn ugly.

Oh well, guess I'm stuck with them for awhile.

But now you all know, where I spend most of my time.

And every time I'm online, I'm here in this room.

Well Prim Pals, I'm heading out. I'm going to go soak up some of this wonderful warm weather.

Until Next Time…

Take Care and Prim Filled Blessings To You ALL!!

Hi Tammy,
I love all the shades of brown! When I first saw the post I thought I have no brown in my house but as I sit here looking around I find that I do indeed have brown in each room. Maybe I'll post a few pics myself.
Have a great day, the weather in NC is supposed to be great, think I'll take advantage of that.

Hi Tammy,

I sure am behind on my blog reading, and am just now reading this.;-)

Love all your shades of brown. They are just lovely!

I think I might be able to beat you on the ugly sewing room! ;-)
Mine is in the garage, and doesn't look as good as yours, nor do I have as much space as you have.
Maybe some day we will both have cute prim sewing rooms!

Prim Blessings,
