Don’t Forget Giveaway Ends Soon!! + Some New Goodies!

Hi All!!

Hope you all are having wonderful week.

Wanted to pop in and remind everyone that my giveaway ends this week.

Deadline to enter is Thursday, April 8th at 11:59 pm.

I will draw and announce the winner Friday, April 9th.

So if you haven't entered please be sure to stop by Giveaway Post and do so.

I went to a few antique stores this past weekend.

I found a few things to keep and a few things for my website.

Here are the goodies I got…

First off my favorite find.  A large old buttocks basket.

It does have a few broken weaves but nothing too terrible and the price was right.

Now I just need to find a spot for it.

At the same store I also found this old, home made, slide lid box. It is pretty large in size, so I'm not sure what it was made to hold.

I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it sell it yet.

I also found this cast iron corn bread mold.  I don't believe it is old but I have been wanting on to make pantry cakes in.  So I’m happy that I found one for a reasonable price.

At another store, I found these old tin molds for my Bakers Cabinet.

For my website I found these two old metal candle holders.

I think this would go great with any Americana Collection.

The red isn't as bright in person.  I guess it was the flash that makes it appear that way.

I found this neat antique, Child’s Size, wood walking cane.

Wonderful old patina and in great condition.

It is hard to tell in photos but it is a short little thing.

For the very first time I took part in a chain package.

A Primitive Journey was having one awhile back so I decided to join in on the fun.

Here is what came in the goody package for me to chose from.

Everything was so adorable but I decided on this wonderful sampler.

It was a fun experience.  I’m glad I decided to join in.

And if anyone else ever has one, please drop me a message, I would love to join in on the fun.

And lastly some exciting news!!

Well, exciting for Me!! :)

I'm FINALLY getting my new furniture for my living room.

Anyone who knows me, knows I have been wanting this forever!!

Literally years upon years!!!

Now it’s finally coming.

I ordered it a couple of weeks ago from the Rabbit Patch down town.

Now I'm just waiting for it to arrive.

I cant hardly stand it I'm so excited.

I bought a wing back settle and 2 wing back chairs.

All three pieces are made by Johnston Benchworks.

I hate to admit it but I can’t remember positively the style I got.

I think I picked out the “Miller Falls”

Which looks this….

Except my Settle is done in black and brown check with aged black legs.

My two chairs will look something like this.

The photo to the left, the coverlet one, is a lot like one I ordered.

The other one I am getting is done in black and brown Snowflake coverlet.

Both also will have the aged black legs.

I cant wait to see what they look like in my living room.

I will be sure to show them off as soon as I get them.

I may got back and order one more chair because I also really like this Walkers Ford style wing back!!

Oh my, my mouth is starting to water just thinking about it!! LOL!! :)

I hope you all enjoy your week.

Until Next Time…..

Take Care and Prim Filled Blessing To You ALL!!!
