Tweaking My Giveaway + Road Trip! + More

Hello All.

Well, I spent some time today tweaking one of the items in my giveaway.

It was buggin’ me.  I felt like the mitten hanger needed something.

So I added some greenery and a little scanned picture to it.

I like it much more now.

But if you like it the other way and you are the lucky winner….

Just simply pull out the greenery sprigs and picture. :)

Oh yes, almost forgot, here is what it looks like now….

This is one of the items included in my giveaway.

While out delivering the other day, I stopped by an antique store before heading home.

They didn't have a lot, but I did find a few things.

I got 5 yards of vintage fabric.

I Love old fabric!!

I got these cute primitive moon and star peg hangers.

An old tin, star shaped, baking pan.

An old potato masher.

And lastly, Another old cast iron corn bread pan.

In my last post I talked about my sons rotten feisty cat, Wheezy.

You know, the bowl breaker!! ;)

I wanted to share with you all something else he does.

He has a fascination with the dish washer.  Or should I say, with me putting dishes in or taking them out of it.

It doesn't matter where he is in the house.

When he hears me open it … here he comes!!!

What does he do??

Well, This!

The entire time.

Just to let you know, No he isn't allowed on the counters.

But I got so tired of tossing him down, only to have him jump right back up.

I finally gave in…. He wins!

Now He is only allowed up there while I am messing with the dish washer. :)

I was looking through some folders on my computer yesterday and I found these pictures of my daughter and her BFF Natalie at Homecoming last year.

I forgot to show them off to everyone.

So even though I am almost a year behind….

Better late than never. LOL!

Look how pretty they were!!

My daughter is the one in the Black and White dress.

One final thing to share with you all.

Guess where I am going tomorrow!!??

Well, Hubby and I are going to be taking a road trip.

I am going to Centertown, KY. to go shop at Cinnamon Creek Cabin!!!

It is only 2 1/2 hours away, not too bad at all.

I am very excited to be getting away for the day.

I feel like I haven't had anytime lately to just relax and do something for me.

Not sure where all we will be going. We are just going to take the day and explore some places we have never been.

Should be fun!!

Those are great finds! I don't even have an antique store in town anymore to shop. We do have the big Antiques and Collectible show in Charlotte but sometimes it can overwhelming.

Wish I lived closer to Cinnamon Creek. It looks wonderful!

Haha. My Max does the exact same thing! He absolutely MUST sit on the counter and stare down the sink when the dishwasher is running. He also has a fascination when ever anyone flushes the toilet. I don't know maybe they think they'll see fishies? :)
