Tweaking ~ Some Goodies ~ & A Win!

Hi Everyone!

I can’t believe it has been over a week since I posted.

I’ve been meaning to get on here but you all know how it is…. life has other plans!!

I'm going to start off with something I usually never do but it is really weighing on my thoughts and mood.

Maybe I will feel better if I just get it out.  So if you don't wont to read my grumbling please skip down a bit. ;)

   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’m sorry but I just can’t comprehend dishonest people!!!
Seriously, it boggles my mind how someone can intentionally lie and cheat someone.
That is what has happened to me.
Let me start off with saying it is not the amount of money I was cheated but the fact that it was intentionally done by someone.
Here's the back story….
I've been selling some of my Hubby’s things on eBay.
I listed a D-Link for him.
Some man came in and BIN for $28.00.
I mailed it right out.  The night he received it, he emailed me being ETREMELY RUDE.  He said it didn't work and that he wanted demanded a refund.
I knew it did work when I sent it out BUT I chose to give him the benefit of the doubt and I apologized and told him to return it for a full refund.
He proceed to email me again, still being RUDE and started saying someone had tried to load some type of hacker program onto and it had froze up and could not be fix.  And then went into detail on how this could be done.
Well, needless to say MAJOR RED FLAGS went off for me because #1 Hubby and I wouldn't have a clue on how to hack anything.
Nor did we even understand what he was talking about.  (But obviously this man understood how to do it.)
Once again, I remained polite.  Stating I don't how this could be on the machine we sent him.  But still offered to refund.  I told him to just return it and all its accessories in the condition it was sent and when it arrived I would give him a full refund.
WELL, Yesterday I got the package and the item he sent back to me.
THIS IS WHAT I SOLD HIM and SENT TO HIM:
dlink01
THIS IS WHAT HE RETURNED TO ME:
001
IT ISN’T EVEN THE SAME ITEM!!!!!
What he has done is….
He had one of these that didn't work.
He bought mine, then claimed it was broken and demanded a refund.
THEN returned me his old broken one and kept the one I sold him!!!
Can you say…. DISHONEST SCAMMER!!!
I'm sorry, it takes a lot to make me mad…. and I do mean A LOT but this man has done it.
I am furious!!
Yesterday he sent me an email stating he noticed from the DC# that the package had arrived and he wanted his refund NOW!
Can you believe this guy??
Well, I wrote him and stated I did receive his package but that he and I both KNOW it is NOT the item I sold him.
Plus I admit it, in this email I did let my anger show.
Oh heck… I’ll just show what I emailed him back.
Here is my email to him:
Yes, I received a package today.
But WE BOTH KNOW it is NOT the item I sent you.
The cord is different and the CD is different.
Which leads me to believe that it is also NOT the same DLINK.
Here is what I believe, you obviously already had one of these and it did not work,  so you purchased mine and then claimed it defective.
When you knew that was not true.
Then you proceeded to send me your broken one as a return.
I have attached photos of what you sent me.
As you can easily compare the photos to the one in the listing, they are NOT the same item.
The cord is completely different as well as the CD.
And why would you have a different CD and cord, and not an additional DLink.  ???
You may choose to deny this but we both know that the item you returned to me is NOT the item I sent you.
I am going to refund your money for the item.  You must really need it to go to great lengths to cheat someone.
I truly feel sorry for you.
I will not refund the shipping costs.  You have cheated me out of enough money as it is.
a*primitive*place
I have received 2 emails from him today.
But to be honest, I'm just still to MAD to even read them.
To see who this dishonest eBayer is, just check out my closed auctions.  It is the Buy It Now D-Link for $28.00.
As I stated before it isn't the amount of money.
Heck, if he wanted it so badly and couldn't afford it, he could've just emailed me and I would've gave the thing to him.
But to intentionally, CHEAT and LIE that is something I just cant handle.
I guess, I'm just a naive person.  I think just because I would never treat someone a certain way…. then no one would.
This is a lesson I need to learn because people have shown me this isn't true too many times than I want to remember.
And just you wait and see this crook will leave me a negative.
I'm sorry but I HATE EBAY!!!
So tell me eBay…. How in the world is this FAIR!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Whew!!!

Okay, I do feel better now!~! :)

Now onto happy things.  I have already gave this so-called man more attention and time than he deserves.

Now on to happy things!!!

First off,  Guess what???

I was the lucky winner of Folkart From The Harbor giveaway!!

WooHoo!!

Look at this fabulous stencil I won!!

Celebrate_A_Blessed_Autumn_Checkers10x20

I cant wait to get this in and make some of these.

Maybe, I’ll include a finished one in my next giveaway!!

Thanks so very much Becca!!

Also this past week I got in some new goodies I had purchased from two very talented ladies we all know and luv!!!

First off, here is my new wonderful wax basket tea light I bought from Pam.

046

Sorry about the photos.  They are pretty bad.

Sometimes I just can’t get a good shot! ;(

But this will give you an idea of where I put it.

045

044

Thanks Pam!! I love my little cupboard tea light!!

I also bought some amazing rag tag labels from Susie.

002

This is the 1st set of rag labels I have ever purchased.

And let me tell you…. I will be buying MORE!!

These are so awesome!!  Pictures don't do them justice.

I have purchased Susie’s paper labels before and her work is simply the best!!

Now I must get busy making things to put these baby’s on!! :)

Thanks so much Susie!!

I also did some tweaking this past week in my kitchen.

Once again…. the photos aren't very good but they will have to do.

I have had the same counter display for years and was ready for a change.

Here is what I came up with…. and trust me it does look better in person!! ;)

095

See that bucket back there??

094

That is what started me tweakin’.

I purchased it at a local antique store.  It is an old bucket with an old tin lid.  It has been newly painted an aged red.

I absolutely feel in love with it.

And it was on sale!!! 25% off of $30 bucks!!

Heck, I would've happily paid the $30, even that was a great price.  Then to get 25% off… well, that was just icing on the cake! :)

Okay, back to the photos….

093

091

I had to move my “Tammy’s Kitchen” plate on to the top of my cabinets.

WHEEZY!!! Broke it!

Yep, I wanted to kill him!! :)

But I restrained myself and just SCREAMED, No Bad Boy!! Get Down!!!

So now it is glued back together until I get another made! :(

I have also done some tweaking in the dining room.

And a few new new goodies but I’ll save them for my next post.

I think I have already gotten a bit carried away in this one.

It has been a crazy week at work.  I have been driving my bottom off lately!! Hehee!

In fact, so much it’s sore!! LOL!!

Hubby and I are planning on getting away sometime this week.  Early birthday trip!

I’m not sure where we going or when, but I’ll be sure to post and let you know about it.

I don't care where we go as long as I can SHOP!

I NEED a shopping trip BAD!!

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me.

And for listening to me grumble!! :)

Until Next Time….

Take Care Everyone and Prim Filled Blessings to you ALL!!

I feel like I just got a new country magazine and turned the pages to wonderful prim decorating. I have a board on my stove to. The piece you have above the stove was interesting. What is it called? I may just have to have one of those for my stove. Am I a copy cat? A place to put more goodies. Your home is lovely.

I love your kitchen and all your photos!

Very sorry about ebay guy. I stopped using ebay a long time ago because (in my experience) I found that sellers are more likely to take my money and not send the goods. :(

I also noticed the board/shelf over the back of your stove. My stove top is curved and whatever I put on it slip slides off. I am definitely going to 'copy'. What a great idea!

And, what a jerk that Ebay guy was. I have never sold on Ebay, but heard that the sellers were being treated badly lately....sorry this happened to you, Tammy!

You are right..EBAY STINKS and I barely list on there and only when they have a special to list for free. You can leave the guy a PFB and mention in it that he returned a different item..he may have ebay remove it but at least a few sellers might see it. I ALWAYS put in my description I DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES...and that is why..I may not make as many sales because of it but I do have 100% PFB and 5 stars all the way to reassure buyers that I am O K..I am not WM
Yur kitchen looks great. I have soooo many old things that I don't know what to do with to prim them. I think I will blog about them and show pics after I get moved and maybe get some help from my blogger friends.
All of your things look great ...sorry to hear your plate got broke but if you only knew what my 2 lab pups (partners in crime) have destroyed you would wonder if I am crazy. I keep telling myself that they didn't do it to be bad and they really do love us...just have to wait for them to outgrow the puppy stage and I hope it is soon. They are 15 months old now and I was told they will be good dogs when they are 2...boy am I ever going to celebrate that birthday :)

Wow Tam, your alot nicer then me. I would have told him to go stick his new D-link up his you-know-where. And I would not have refunded his money. Another reason why I don't like ebay for selling. Thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures of your house. Can you say gorgeous! Love it! Just wonderful!

I hate that you had such an awful person cheat you. I had an Ebay buyer claim stuff was not packed good and was broken, I simply asked for a photo of the broken items & I would refund her. I NEVER heard back. Makes you wonder.

Your prim home is just beautiful. Congrats on your big win of the stencil.

Oh Tammy the pictures are awesome!! I tell you what, instead of doing a fall swap lets do a house swap, you take mine and I'll take yours!! Think we can fit it all in one box and ship?? Seriously though, I get so much inspiration from your pics, always gives me an idea for something in my own home.
So sorry about the Ebay deal, I know it just leaves such a bad feeling for you to have to deal with. God would convict me so bad if I ever cheated anybody, I guess some people just don't have a conscience.
Hope you have a great day!!
Blessings,
Lorna

First off....sad to say that there are WAY TOO MANY OF THOSE KINDS OF PEOPLE OUT THERE!
I've never had a desire to sell on e-bay - too many horror stories that's for sure.

Now on to your photos...FABULOUS...your home is always so much fun to see. Your talent for decorating and placing things is wonderful and that red bucket...it just sets everything off in that area and you can't beat the price. Love the deep rich color.

Hugs, Karen

Oh Tammy..
I'm going to start with the Awesome Pics of the Re-Do..So Beautiful. You have a knack girl..You motivate me for a little change and some pics on my blog as well :)
Now... Why do people like that have to ruin it for everyone else on Ebay. I mean honestly. You had a pic on there like they really thought they could get away with it, and then not only try to get away with it then to make you look like a liar. I am so sorry that you are having to deal with someone like that. The email you sent was top Knotch :)

I love all your pics Tammy! You have done a fabulous job! If you ever want to part with the blue tote, please, please, please give me a holler! I really love it! I can't belive the guy on Ebay! Usually it is the seller that is the problem, not the buyer. That is really low. I would file a report with them. You have the evidence. I love all the rest of your goodies you got. The rag tags are great. Can't wait to see what you do with them! Thanks for sharing your wonderful home!

Tammy,

Yes, I have seen that bucket there several times, and I always considered buying it, but just never did. I guess it was meant for you. I wish that booth was mine. It is my favorite booth in the mall, and I also like the booth that is set up like an old store.
Your house looks great! Wish I had your eye for things!
Enjoy your bucket!

Hi Tammy,

You go ahead girl and vent! That is so madning and you are one kind girl to give him back his money even though he was the one who ripped you off. I will never understand why there are some crooked people out there.

You got yourself some really awesome things! I LOVE everything :) That tealight is really neat! And I really LOVE your rag tag labels. I am going to have to run on over and check them out. I am trying to think of some ideas for a craft show in Nov. I could come up with some really awesome things I think :)

You are one patient lady with that cat. I know hubby, he would have thrown it outside...LOL.

I wanted to say how beautiful is that hooked rug with the alphabet on it. I LOVE it!

I always love checking in and seeing what's new and the tweaking you have done.

Have a wonderful weekend Tammy!

Well I haven't sold on ebay for about 3 years so that was before the big changes, but I have heard it's not easy to sell there anymore.

The only time I ever had a truly awful experience was when I was on the buying end. I bought china from a lady and she shipped it Media Mail!!! And she just wrapped it in one piece of newspaper per plate. No bubble wrap no peanuts. Things are packed better than that when you are bringing it home from Home Goods. Long story short - plates broken - no help from ebay - took months to get my money back - now I am scared to buy from ebay unless it's a very cheap item.
