Christmas Decor 2010 ~ Part 2 ~ The Living Room

Hi Everyone!

Here is another sneak peak of some of my Christmas decorating.

Before showing off the Living Room, let me show you this cute wreath I added to my Baker Cabinet in my Dining Room.

I was telling my Mom that the other side of the DR was too dark.  I needed something, but yet not another tree.

I thought a wreath hanging from the cabinet would look nice, so she made me one.

And it really helps pull the whole Christmas decor together.

Here are a few more photos…

Okay now on to the Living Room…

This is the view when entering the front door.

In this room is our Family Christmas Tree.

You will see all types of ornaments on it.

I have “tried” to prim it up by adding grapevine garland and orange slices.

It is also hard to see in photos but instead of using a tree skirt I wrapped the bottom with an old quilt piece. (I also did this in the dining room.)

I love your holiday your fireplace and the hanging your santa collection and your teddy bears too..:) love the wreath you did you hide the cord?

Thanks so much everyone!!

Steal away, Gen!! :)

Gina, There is an outlet behind the cabinet. So the cord is lighted where the cord is long on top, I simply took it up and over and plugged it in behind the the cabinet.
Oh, and it is hung with a wire and push pin, so not to damage the Bakers Cabinet.

I love your decorating style and all your wonderful treasurers. I am in love with the old teddies and your old Santas. In face, I love it all. Christmas trees just don't photograph well - at least that has been my experience. All your lights make everything so cozy. Christmas is a wonderful time of year.
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the lovely Christmas tour, you are a gracious inspiration to all. Especially like the way you include the non-Christmas items, love the hanging bonnets. I also try to decorate around my prim favs that way I don't have to pack up so much stuff. Thanks Again.

Oh yeah, I love that wreath on the cabinet. So not only does it look good but functional too. I love the pictures where you just have the Christmas lights on. Definitely gives off a warm and inviting ambiance. Very nice!

The anniversary plates are so sweet, love them. Everything looks awesome Tammy! We have a family tree also. That's why I have to have other trees in my home because we have the one family tree with all the kids ornaments. So all the other trees are for me to prim up! Hehe! But I really like the grapevine idea, wish I had seen this sooner. I'll have to remember it for next year.

Girl you are funny! I still don't see where your pillows are messed up, haha! But I know, those things drive me nuts too. Your home is prim perfect girl!
