Oh, do I ever hear ya! Been there more than once. And what I like is that not only do you have to do everything for everyone, but you also are to blame for everything that goes wrong! Hang in there, Tammy!

Hi Tammy,
Wow!!! I know exactly how you feel. Two of mine don't even live with me ,and they still expect me to do everything. Even Hubby does it when he is home. I have quit several times, but I am always back the next day. Lotsa love and hugs, you need it.

Tammy,

I always tell my husband that I need a wife...you know, someone that will cook and clean up after me.

Hope your night gets better.

Close your eyes and then open them and realize in an instant things could be worse. Treasure every moment. I wish i could turn back time to tell my two sons how much i loved them. Never give up. Yes we have all been there in a manner of speaking. Blessings, jan

Don't worry Tammy your not the only mom to quit!!! I have had those moments and for some reason my husband doesn't understand when I like to have a day out to myself where I am not a mom or wife just myself with no one to bother me!!! When I come back in my next life I am coming back as a man!!! LOL!

Hope you have a better day!

Hi Tammy, Well I have been down that road several times. I have been an empty nester for almost 10 years now, thought it would get better, the problem is we never leave our jobs. I got up this morning thinking my work is here. When my husband is off, he is off. I have to leave home to get away from it. Now that might be a plan. Hang in there Tammy. Vicky

Just too darn funny Tammy. I remember when my son was just a little guy, he asked me what I would want to be if I wasn't his mom. I truthfully could not think of a thing. Oh the joys of motherhood!
Hugs,
AMY

Hi Tammy,
I started reading the job posting and was thinking to myself, wow sounds like the job I have already. Mom and wife. Then I came over to your blog and thought wow, she has the same exact job.

Isn't is amazing how we look at our new borns and swear that nothing could be so wonderful as being the mother of that tiny little bundle of joy in our arms?

Dan at Yesterday no More posted the word of the week~Patience~
Sounds like you had plenty to test your patience maybe you can post about your patience concerning your Job Position as MOM...giggle!!
Dear Tammy I don't think there is a woman/Mom in Blogland that couldn't relate to the desire to quit there MOM job..I think I read someplace that is when you go lock yourself in the bathroom with a good Book, several Scented Candles, fill the tub with hot water, dump in some bath crystals, and soak until the hot water runs out and you have read at least 5 chapters of your book. Then apply tons of lotion, climb in your fav jammies, curl up in your bed and read a few more chapters of your book until you drift off to sleep.
Tomorrow will be a brand new day and who knows you may even consider returning to your job and not find it offensive to hug your kids and speak to the man who thinks he is the boss...giggle.
