Just A Do Nothing Day!!

That is what today has been for me.

I woke this morning with all these plans.

Finish this, work on that!

And so far…

Nope, I haven’t done a darn thing!! :)

I have sat here on my computer.

Caught up on most the blogs I follow.

Searched the internet.

Read the news and a bunch of other useless stuff.

Do you know there is actually a website for exactly that!

http://www.uselessinformation.org/

Yep, I even read a little bit of it. LOL!!

I am in the mood to do something.

I am just not sure what!

I keep getting up thinking…

Okay, time to get started.

I walk around looking at one pile of stuff, then another…

Only to decide I don't want to do any of it and come sit right back down here.

I can’t even go sit down and watch my boys play football.

Because the Steelers don’t have a game this week.

I told my daughter I feel so guilty.

I'm not working today and  I very seldom have a whole day at home.  I feel like I should be accomplishing something.

Taking advantage of this time at home.

Instead, I haven't  done anything.

My daughter said, “Well that's silly to feel guilty.  Its your day off, you deserve to do nothing, if that is what you want to do.”

But is it what I Want To Do….

I don't know about that.

I want to finish things.

I want them to be done.

I'm just not in the mood to actually do any of them.

Does that make sense??

Okay, I'm babbling, I know.

I've been doing quite a bit of that today also. LOL!!

I will share a couple of things with you.

The other day I made some more Christmas ornies.

These are made out of wax then grubbied up.

I think they turned out really cute and will look great on a primitive twig tree.

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

They have wire hangers built in.

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

I have these listed on my Esty Shop.

Speaking of my Esty shop….

I sold my first items this past week. Yeah!

I've been trying to get my Mom to open one.

I’ll let you know if she ever does.

Esty has replace Ebay in my book!!

For years I sold on eBay like crazy.

But for the past year or so, it has lost all appeal to me.

Too many changed rules and bad experiences.

I hardly even look anymore.

To me…

Esty is more like eBay used to be, when it 1st went online.

Back when it fun and exciting.

Those times sure have past for the site.

I guess I’ll head off for now.

I'm afraid I don't have anything else to babble talk about.

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit.

Until Next Time…

Take Care!

Funny...I have days like that and i don't work outside of the house so I really feel guilty when I spend hours at the computer!
I made myself take my daughter riding today. But we have a computer at the barn and guess where I am??? She's putting the pony in the field with her Daddy and here I am.I Could not pass by the computer without clicking the mouse. That's why I don't have a i phone !!! I would love one but...
I took a try at Etsy this week but I don't make alot so I am limited there. I sell a little on Ebay but I find people don't like to pay for shipping.I don't want to pay over for shipping either but everytime I go to ship something I end up paying extra for shipping. Ebay has lost it's appeal...we are all looking for bargains.Michelle

Hi Tammy, I am in the same shape as you. Need to do something, want to do something but am doing nothing. Like I really need to be working on the swaps, but I just wonder around trying to decide what I am going to do and then end up back here. I'm feeling really lazy!!
Blessings,
Lorna

Like your daughter said... don't feel guilty! You've been so busy with the hustle and bustle of Christmas, it's natural to feel this way when things slow down. ENJOY IT!! =]

The snowflake ornies are adorable, love them! Congrats on your sale! I know what you mean about ebay, it's so frustrating for me to sell on there. It's nothing like it used to be. Best wishes on your Etsy!

Hi Tammy, glad to see I am not the only one this weekend who has had a do nothing day. My whole day yesterday consisted of my doing nothing but watching television all day yesterday and normally I am not in front of the tv for more than half an hour a day. I usually putter around the house but yesterday I just laid on the couch all day would get up to do something and find myself back on the couch again. But I figured I very rarely get a day like that so I guess I shouldn't feel that guilty for doing it. Other than I have a lot of stuff looking at me now for wasting that whole day!!!
It will have to wait for now!
Have a good one!

I have those unproductive..computer only days. I have learned sometimes..that is just what I need to be doing. Don't be too hard on yourself.

I am THINKING about opening an ETSY shoppe. My friend MaryJo and I LOVE to craft. I do not LIKE Ebay anymore. I want something handmade and know that it is.

Hi Tammy,
I had one of those weekends when I had so many plans to finish and start new projects... but I could not get out of my own way to get any of it done... I stitched a couple pennies for a new rug and that is about it. I am going to have to play catch up this week. I hope your week is amazing.

I love lazy days all to myself, sometimes I take a shower and get in my soft PJ's again.LoL..I haven't shopped ebay in over 2 years.I used to sell on there and they did a number on me for no reason so I vowed not to deal with them again and closed my account.Been on etsy a little over 2 years and love it.A couple of the ebay "nuts" stop by once in awhile but it is so far and few on etsy. Most people are friendly and honest.Well Tam hope you enjoyed your lazy day.I'm going to work on swap stuff.Warm Blessings!~Amy

You shouldn't feel guilty for resting. That is important work too. My hubby and I have been exhausted since the holidays and are just now coming around.
