My Newest Burlap Teddy Bear ~ Sold

Meet my newest creation, Stacey.

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

She is a primitive, handmade, teddy bear.

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

She measures approx. 13" tall.

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

She has a hump back design, just like the old ones.

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

She is made to look old, worn and well loved.

A Primitive Place ~Tammy
I used burlap for his body, to give her the appearance that all of her fur has been loved away.

She is completely stuffed with old cotton seed quilt batting.

Her arms are string jointed. Which give them ability to be moved and posed some.

Her head is not jointed in any way.

A Primitive Place ~Tammy
Her eyes are made from black, antique style, shoe buttons.

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

Her clothing was primitively made out of true early fabric.

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

Her pants are made out of antique blue and white shirting fabric.
Her shirt is made out of antique blue and white calico fabric.

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

No glue is ever used on my bears.
Everything is either machine or hand sewn.

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

She and her clothes have been put through a grubby process to give them that worn prim appearance.

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

My original creation.

And Stacey, like all of my bears, is a One Of A Kind creation.

Hi Tammy! It is has been a while since I came over. Have been tied up with phamily stuff and computer woes. I have a new lap top so I am getting back into the groove here. I still love my Pumpkin Head gal I won at your place. You are one talented lady! Hugs anne
