So Far The Blizzard Has Missed Us

And I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it continues to.

All we are getting right now is rain.

I keep checking the weather forecast online, and all appears to be okay.

But as most of you know that can always change.

By this evening, it is calling for some ice and snow.

I think it said a 40% chance.

Nothing like my poor sister in St. Peters, Mo.  is getting.

They are getting pounded with freezing rain, ice, and snow.

It is horrible there.

Everyone keeps comparing this to the winter storm of ‘76.

I can remember that one, and I was only 6 at the time.

But I remember all the snow!!!

Of course, as a kid I loved it!!  Because it was fun to play in and most importantly it kept us out of school.  As a kid, what is not to love about that!

But now as an adult, I dread every bit of it.

And having a job as a delivery driver makes it even worse!!

I am such a baby, I wont drive in bad weather.

And when I don't drive, I don't get paid…. so that is a major downfall.

I cant wait for Spring!!

I don't know about everyone else but I for one have had enough of Winter!!

Bring on the warm temp’s, the sunshine, the birds a chirping, even those darn dandelions'…. I’ll gladly take it all!! :)

I'm going to spend the day working on some projects and doing some listing on my website and Etsy.

Here are some photos of some things I have recently listed or will be listing soon.

Hi Tam..LOL..good thing ya didn't drive 200 total miles to and from a dentist appt. that got canceled today..giggle..if you hate driving in snow you would never have made it.

The Ice has not stopped the 4" I hammered off my step is back..I can't even walk to the shop it is so slippery. My door was iced shut but finally got it open, sprinkled salt on the steps again so maybe it will help melt it as it builds up.

Love all your goodies you have listed... Since I can't get to the shop tonight I'm going to cut fabric and create some Rag Balls and maybe some Rag Garland... good night to just hang out on the sofa working on those things ya never find time to work on...
I hope the storm continues to pass you by..
Stay safe & warm girlfriend!!

Oh I explained on post why I drive so far if ya still want to know..

Hope you don't get any bad stuff! We have had sleet for over 12 hours and 40 mph winds! I still have my power and praying it stays. It is brutal out there!

Stay safe and warm

Hi Tammy, Thanks for coming by my blog and leaving such a nice comment about my house. I love primitives, it is a good thing I don't live close to arnetts, I would spend all my money. There are no primitives here, they don't even know what a primitive is. I drive over an hour just to get to a primitive shop. I always enjoy looking at your house. I enjoy changing things around also. I also liked your website, I will keep an eye on it. We did not get any of the snow here, just rain. Stay warm, oh I don't drive in the snow either. Vicky
