Hi Darla,
Inside the crick pitcher is twigs and dried vine with red peppers.
I purchased it as is (minus the pitcher) years ago downtown at the Rabbit Patch.

The rolling pin is reproduction yellow ware.
I purchased it years ago off of eBay.
