My Bear From Dru!!

Happy Sunday everyone!!

Oh, what a glorious day.

It is a little chillier here in Southern IL., compared to yesterday.  But the sun is shinning and the birds are singing.  You can tell Spring is on it’s way.  So I will definitely take it and smile!

Praise God!

I don't know about all of you, but this has been a rough winter for me.

I always struggle through winter, the winter blues!

Yes, I have always struggled with them.

But this winter seems to have been even worse than normal.

So I am so excited that it is almost done for the season.

And if you hear me complain even once about the heat this upcoming Summer, I give you permission to reach through the computer screen and slap me! :)

I almost have my swap goody package finished.

Hopefully if I don't get called out to work today, I can get it finished up.

I love doing swaps!

I actually have an idea for another one.

Which I will let everyone know about after we finish up this one. :)

And I believe it will be an easy, inexpensive and fun one!

I don't want to give it away, but keep an eye out for the details sometime next month.

I am trying to finish up some of my burlap bears.

I have a few started just need to get them sewn together and dressed.

Plus I am hoping to get some different, larger bears made.

Hopefully now that my energy level is picking up with the help of sunshine, I will get them done.

Speaking of bears…

Back to the title of this post.

As I mentioned in a couple of my previous posts,

I purchased one of Dru's amazing teddy bears.

I have wanted one Forever!!

He arrived in yesterday’s mail.

And OMGosh!! He is soooo cute!!

I originally purchased him for my living room, but I placed him on my bed yesterday and I think he may stay there instead.

Here are couple of photo’s of him!!

Thank you sooo much, Dru!!!

I’m sure most of you already know Dru, but if you don’t.

Be sure to click on her name above and pop over to visit her amazing blog.

She is just the sweetest, not to mention extremely talented.

I am a devoted follower of her blog and absolutely LOVE everything she does.

Such Inspiration!!

While you are here, I also wanted to show you this adorable little whisk broom I purchase online.

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

It is hard to tell in the picture, but it is actually a tiny little thing.

About 1/3 the size of a normal whisk broom.

And the only one I have like it.

Don’t ask me what started my obsession with these things, because I don't have a clue!!?? :)

All I know is that I love them.

Isn't it funny the things we start to collect.

Do you ever wonder why or what causes us to fall in love with such things?

Oh well, if it makes me smile, that is good enough for me.

That’s it for me today.

I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend so far!

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit with me.

Until Next Time…

Take Care and Prim Blessings to you All!!

Tam. LOVE THE BEAR!!! Dru makes the best bears!
I have started making bears, always comparing mine to hers... Mine never measure up... BUT how could they!!! Dru's are the best!
AND whisk brooms... Obbessed with them too! I think I have like 15, it really is a illness! OLM

T, the whisk broom looks like the kind/size Mother used to brush off our clothes.

Love that darling bear ... he sits regally on your bed.

Happy St. Paddy's Day ~
Have a beautiful week ~

Your bear looks right at home! I think he likes it there! I too love little whisk brooms, there's just something about them that draws me to them! It is funny how and why we collect what we do!

Ah, the adorable whisk broom! I am obsessed by them, as well. I have filled my buckboard with them.I have even created wraps for some of them. ARGH! I'm dressing my whisk brooms! Oh, well, I love them and will continue to do so.
BTW~Nice bear, too.
Since my own personal bear, made by my Grandma back in the 50's was lost in a luggage snafu back in the 80's, I have lost my passion for bears. I miss my Grandma and I miss that bear.....
