Miracles Do Happen!

Trust me they do!

In this world, with not only the problems going on in it, but also in our personal lives, sometimes it easy to let your faith waver.

To give into the fear and sadness of situations.

Trust me, I know, I am guilty of it myself.

But stay strong.

God does hear you!

He does love you!

He wants only what is best for you.

Pray for what burdens your heart, not only that, Believe you have received it, and release it.

I know sometimes it doesn't feel possible.

But after praying, say the words out loud.

Even if those voices in your head are telling you the opposite.

Push them aside, and say out loud that what you have prayed for is yours!

Live life as though you have already received it.

Thank him everyday for giving it to you.

That is one of the meanings of faith, believing in something before any physical proof.

Modern day miracles do happen.

The miracles that have taken place in my life in this week are beyond belief.

I know without a doubt, I owe it all to God and his divine intervention.

And to all of you for surrounding me and mine with prayers, support and positive thoughts.

So don't be afraid to ask for help.

To ask for prayers.

If you are private person, that is okay, I am too.

There is no need to go into details of what is burdening you (unless you want to).

All you have to do is ask for unspoken prayers.

God already knows the situation, he will know what the prayers are for.

Being a Christian doesn't mean your life will be problem free.  It doesn't mean that your faith wont be tested.

Because I am an example that it will be at times.

But it is your faith in God that will give you the strength to get through it.

And I believe, makes the journey shorter than it would be without him.

I will continue to ask for prayers of fellow believers when I need it.

The situation I asked for prayers with last week, it isn't gone yet.

So please continue to pray and send me your positive thoughts, if you would.

But the changes going on in our lives are beyond anything I could have imagined.

And I know in my heart, that when this situation is completely settled, we will be okay and stronger in the end because of it.

While I am on the subject, I would like to talk about one more thing.

Sometimes I worry about the newly reborn.  The ones that are new to knowing God.

I'm afraid they will let themselves be discouraged because of mistakes they have made or continue to make.

So, let me say this…. Don’t be discouraged!

Don’t turn away from God because of it.

I've been a Christian all my life.  I have made more mistakes than I can count.

Seriously, many, many mistakes!

And yes, a few of them have been really big ones.

Don’t give up.

Pray.

Ask for forgiveness and then forgive yourself.

Sometimes this is a very hard thing to do, but you must forgive yourself.

When you pray with an honest heart to be forgiven, God wipes your sin away.

And when you let your heart be filled with guilt, it is as if you are saying… Okay I'm forgiven but it isn't really gone.

So learn to forgive yourself.

We will never be perfect, we will never be sin free.

The goal is to keep trying.

Learn from the mistakes we make and try to prevent ourselves from making them again.

I always picture myself as if I fallen onto the ground, I pick myself, dust myself, and try again.

One thing that is important to remember is, God knows us.  The good and the bad. And he loves us.

He loves us all completely and Equally.

Isn’t that a wonderful thing!

Just think about it….

It doesn't matter how much money we make, what we do for a living, it doesn't matter if we have known him all our lives or whether we don't.

He still loves us all completely and Equally.

He doesn’t love our sin but he always, Always, loves us.

And there is nothing that you have done that will stop him from loving you.

All you need to do is turn to him in prayer.

One time I was talking to someone and they made the comment, I don’t know how to pray.

It struck me odd, but I could tell they were serious.

I said, if you know how to talk then you know how to pray.

There are no set rules for prayer.

At least none I know of, you just talk to God as if we were speaking to your best friend.

It doesn’t even have to be spoken aloud.  You can talk to him anytime with the thoughts in your head, he can still hear you.

Okay, I’ll end my post with this…

I know there maybe some out there that disagree with the things I have posted.

It’s okay, you don’t have to believe in the things I do in order to be my friend.

I don’t set restrictions on friendships.

Thank you for stopping by to visit and for all of the support you have given me.

Take Care and Talk Soon,

zTam

Tammy, I love your lovely encouraging post. I have been discouraged at times and really questioned God when my daughter was so sick and suffering, but I kept saying over and over, ok God I don't understand this, but you haven't failed me yet!! And you won't this time, and he didn't. She still has her struggles, but I am trusting God for her complete healing.
And I praise him for sparing my son and grandson's life the other week, when the tree limb feel on my son's head.
I thank God for my blogging friends, who have encouraged and prayed for me.
Have a great eve. bunches of hugs,
Lecia

Tammy, sweet Tammy, I was in church both services today, heard two good sermons, and have just read another wonderful sermon that all of us can relate to and take to heart.
If you read my post tonight about Mother,,, Let me tell you God answered a major big prayer for me today, and I had to share it in service tonight. I had prayed and prayed for God to show me what to do and something occured this week and it was as if a light bulb went off in front of me. Knew that was an answer to prayer. Today Mother was a different person. A song the choir sung tonight, "He's Alive". Well he is and still answers prayers. Aren't we blessed that God is on our side. I throughly enjoyed your post. God Bless you and your family. You have and will still be in my prayers.

Yes!! Amen to all you wrote! Keep believing, keep believing, never believe the lie that God does not care about you, even the difficult things. His love never quenches, fails, or fizzles out! He loves you beyond measure, He has ample strength to hold you when you weep, carry you when you can't go on, and He bled so you did not have to, rest in him. Rest beloved, you are His!! And He is yours!!
