My Mom and Dad’s Home

Hi Everyone.

I was looking through some folders on my computer and found these photos of my Mom and Dad’s home.

I can’t remember if I have ever made a blog post showing these off or not.

This is the home I grew up in.

Of course, it has changed and ton since then.

A few years ago they put up new siding and windows, and I just love it!!

So pretty.

Any way, here is a little tour of their home.

My Mom’s favorite room, her kitchen.

These are photos from a few years ago.

I need to get over there and take some new ones.

As hard as it may be to believe, it is even prettier now. :)

Next, this room used to be my sisters bedroom. ;)

Of course, it didn’t look like this when she lived here.

My old bedroom doesn't really exist anymore. :(

They took down the wall and opened up the space to make a sitting room.

Here is the area that once was my bedroom.

Here is another little sitting room my Mom has created.

It was originally a walk in closet.

I hope you enjoyed the little tour of my Mom and Dad’s home.

Soon I will post some photos of the down stairs bathroom they  just refinished.

It is gorgeous!!

Wait till you see the slipper claw foot tub.

Oh, while I have you here….

Check out how much my living room has changed over the last few years.

AHA!! So, now we know for sure and for certain where your love of all things old - and your decorating genes - came from! Beautiful!!! That's so awesome that it's "a family thing!" Beautiful - inside and out. Like the changes to your living room - funny what a difference such small changes can make! Thanks for sharing! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Good morning Jennifer! I so enjoyed looking at your parents' home...it is truly lovely - every inch of it! I love the colors they have used on the walls...makes it even more inviting! Can't wait to see the pictures of the updated kitchen (even though it looks lovely in the 'old' pictures).
Thank you so much for sharing! Hope you are all safe and well.
