Some Photos To Share…

Happy Good Friday Everyone!

I just got back from an e-run, and I’m so happy to be back home.  The facility I had to go to was an hour and half away. Which isn't bad on a nice day but where I headed to had storms moving in. Luckily, it was on my way out, so I only had a short area where it was really dark and pouring rain.

I really need to invest in better tires.  When your traveling at 55 to 60 miles an hour and run into a wall of rain…. EEEkkk!

I was hydroplaning all over the place.  And it was a two lane highway with semi’s in front, back and heading in the opposite direction.

I am so glad to be back home!!!

I wanted to share some photos with all of you.

As I mentioned in yesterdays post, I have received some wonderful goodies lately.

First was my surprise, “Just Because”, package from Tricia.

She is such a sweetheart!!

Look at these goodies she surprised me with.

1st is the wonderful card and 2 prim hanging eggs.

Next is a wonderful prim hanging candle.

And last, but certainly not least, is this amazing prim night light.

As I told Tricia after receiving her goody package, I was just saying I needed a nightlight for my bathroom.

Now I have a prim perfect one!!

Thank you so much my dear friend, Tricia!

Yesterday, I also received my wax fruit from Misi.

I was one of her lucky winners in her display chain giveaways a little while back.

Let me tell you all….

Photos don’t do these justice!!!

They are seriously amazing and so realistic.

I told Misi, I see an order from me for more in my near future!!

Thank you sooo much Misi!!

I have these displayed in the center of my breakfast nook table.

And while we are here in the breakfast nook, let me show you some updated photos.

You may remember awhile back I painted my fireplace black.

I just couldn’t get into the Black.

I tried, I really did.

I lived with it a bit and did some tweaking to it.

But still couldn't get excited about the black.

Which is surprising because I love black.

Oh well, so I went back over the black with a light coat of the mustard.

And here it is.

As you can see, I did leave it where some of the black still shows through.

Here’s a question for you.

See the quilt piece in the photos above and below.

Which way do you like it best?

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

When I was taking the photos of the room, I had it on the table long ways.

But when I finished, I was looking at the table again and thought…

Hummm, I wonder if it would look better if I turned the quilt piece?

I personally think I like it best in the second photo.

I think the design on the quilt stands out better in the second photo.

Which you do you like best?

In all my excitement I forgot to tell you about a bonus gift Misi included with the fruit.

Sorry, for the quality of these next few pictures, I ran upstairs and took them with my phone. ;)

Misi also included this wonderful prim candle.

See, horrible photo!

Stupid flash!

But when I tried it without the flash it was too dark.

I love these type of prim candles.

I have a small collection starting.

I have this candle sitting with the ones I received from Heather in our swap.

Well, I guess that is all I have to share right now.

Time to get back to cleaning. Yuck!!

I cleaning out my sewing room…. Purging.

I have so much stuff just stuck in this room.

I have made my mind up to clean it out.

I mean Really clean it, not just straighten it up.

I'm taking everything down off the shelves.

Going through every box, every drawer, everything,  piece by piece and deciding if I really want or need to keep it.

If it not, it is going in the yard sale box.

Yes, I'm getting ready to have a Yard Sale.

I'm trying to unclutter everything before having it though.

Closets, cabinets, this room, the garage, Everywhere and Everything!!

I have a tendency to be a pack rat if I don't watch myself.

Thanks a lot for the gene Mom!! LOL!!

I know it is a lot to undertake right now, but it feels so good to look at the finished project.

I feel like it is sooo much easier to breathe when it is cleaned and organized.

So wish me luck and lots of energy!! LOL!

Have a Wonderful Easter Weekend!!

Until Next Time….

Take Care!

What wonderful goodies you received! I love the quilt in the second pic! Good luck purging! I have a tendency to be a pack rat, too! My hubby said that was one good thing about our house burning down...didn't have to clean it out or move it! LOL! however, I do not recommend that way. I hope your adventure into cleaning out and purging goes quickly.

It's always nice to get little surprises in the mail. I like the 2nd picture of the quilt too. It does show off the pattern more.

Oh, when I drove I hated driving in rain too. But, you made it safe n sound! Yay:)
Nice gifts you received, I love the candles. That fruit does look real, when I saw the first photo I thought it was real.
The second photo with the quilt draped over the sides looks better:)
Honestly, I'm not sure about the mustard fireplace. As long as you're happy with it honey;)

Tammy, I vote for the quilt as you have it in your second photo, too. I think it's a little more appealing seeing more of the wood tabletop. Good luck with cleaning out your craft room. I spent Memorial Day weekend doing that last year and have enjoyed going in there and working a lot more since doing that. Now I need to work on the basement...Have a wonderful Easter! ~Roberta

Hi Tammy, What wonderful goodies you recieved! I always love getting little surprises in the mail, too. Just seems to make my day! Tricia is such a sweetheart and Misi's fruit is so awesome, I have been wanting to oder some from her for a while now. Think I will be heading over there very soon. I like the second pic for your quilt, and agree with Roberta about it being more appealing seeing more of the wood table. Wishing you and your family a wonderful and Blessed Easter! Mary
