Dollar Tree Creating And Decorating

025

Hello Everyone!!

Yesterday I went by the Dollar Tree looking for these wonderful faux leaves I had seen on another blog.

Sorry, no, I don't remember who it was.

I must get me a notebook to leave here on the desk and jot down who’s blog's I see what on!!!

Because I am the worst at remembering.

Any who…

I stopped by and WooHooo they had them and some other stuff.

Here is what I bought at the Dollar Tree…

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

I just knew these little leaves would make an adorable wreath.

I used one the DT floral rings and wrapped it with strips of orange fabric.

Putting a dot of glue on the beginning and end of strip to keep it in place.

Then when that was all finished.

I piled up all the leaves and just started randomly hot gluing the leaves all over the wreath.

Now I had all three sides covered.

I didn't put any on the back, left that showing the orange fabric.

Cute but too skinny!

So I took more leaves and glued them around the outer edge of the wreath to give it more width.

And here is how it turned out.

This little guy was really giving me problems trying to get a good photo.

I tried outside, then in…

I have this hanging in my kitchen on the door heading to the basement.

The little gourds also came from the Dollar Tree.

Mom purchased them last year but they do still have them in stock.

I believe they come 4 to 5 in a package.

Still not done creating with my Dollar Tree supplies!!

I made this wreath from them too.

I had the grapevine wreath but all embellishments came from DT.

I have this displayed on my front door.

I am so happy with the way it turned out!!

And lastly…

One more little decorating tweak.

I took some of the loose leaves and displayed them with a couple of my pumpkins in my kitchen.

I hope you enjoyed my little DT creations!

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit.

And be sure to keep an eye out for my next post.

I will be showing off two amazing swap goody packages I got in the mail today.

Oh Yes, It felt like Christmas today!!! :)

I just love the colors of fall. Your wreath turned out very nice. With a little imagination and some dollar tree decorations, one can make a nice piece look like its worth hundreds of dollars.
I know it gives me ideas. You can even make one for the Christmas season too. Thanks for sharing, looks nice on your door.
