Some Neat Tips!

Hello Everyone, me again!

Well, like so many others, lately, I have been so obsessed with the whole Pinterest thing.

I haven’t gotten around to making anything seen on there Yet.

But I have learned so many neat tips.

APP ~Tammy

Here is one I actually did when cleaning Kortney’s old room.

All Photos Below are from Pinterest, not mine.

For cleaning ceiling fans, use a pillow case.

Slide each of the blades inside and wipe clean.

It does work, as far as catching the dust, so it doesn't fall into the floor.

But I struggled with the very end tip of blade.

I had to go back and rewipe it.

I will be continuing to clean them this way though.

Because it was great not to have to vacuum the dust up afterward.

This next one was pinned from .

*What a great idea!

Or how about this one,

Using a Baking Soda and Peroxide Cleaning Solution to clean stained baking pans.

I loved this next idea,

Use a comb to hold the nail and protect your fingers.

Oh yes, I have smashed my fingers with a hammer more times than I want to remember.

I love these next two for my sewing room.

Folding TV tray, turned ironing board. Perfect for having next to sewing machine.

A fabric covered magnetic knife strip.  Great for all those metal bits in the sewing room.

Also this one From

Keep your filled bobbins together (and keep the threads from dangling) by storing them in a foam toe separator, the kind used for pedicures.

This primitive gal loves this next idea!

Use an old brush to hold pens, paint brushes, etc.

These next two buttons pretty much sums up Pinterest perfectly!

Oh, I am so glad you are enjoying Pinterest. I have been on there for hours the past two nights. I will look you up and follow you. I am going to try using baking soda and peroxide on my pans just as soon as I can. They are gross. Thanks for sharing. -Steph-

Yeah, I do see you on Pinterest quite a bit... but I wouldn't know if I wasn't on there so much, hehe! It is truly wonderful though! I have made a few of the recipes and crafts. One of the cleaning tips I did this week was cleaning the inside of my oven door with a baking soda/water paste. Let it set for 15 min (mine was filthy so it set for 25 min). It's really true... it'll wipe right off of there. I was amazed at how clean it was! Yes, Pinterest is a wondrous place to be! =]
