Some Photos To Share

Good morning everyone!

Well, I have been doing a little Spring/Summer tweaking around here.

Can’t really do much inside because of the construction and the piles of tools and wood sitting around.

But I was able to do some decorating on my porch.

I want to change my porch decor.

It has looked basically the same for years!

And I want a change.

But I cant figure out what to do.

Plus without buying new furniture, it is kind of hard to make it look much different.

I did put out my Summer pillows and chair covers.

Plus JoAnn’s had their geraniums on sale again!

Which I had last year but made the mistake of storing them in a trash bag, hanging from a peg in the garage….

And can you guess what happened to them???

Yep, my Hubby took them out as TRASH!!

I mean, come on…. Who hangs trash from a peg???

He said I thought you didn't want to sit it on the ground.

????

Why exactly would I not want to sit a bag of trash on the ground in the garage or better yet…

Why wouldn't I have put in the garbage can if it was trash???

Oh well, it happened so I had to buy more.

And right now they have them marked down 60% off.

I also got a berry wreath for my front door on sale there too.

Originally $30 now on sale for $7.00.

Isn’t it pretty!

My only complaint is….

The berries don't show up from a distance.

You have to be up on the porch before you notice them.

From the road it just looks like a heart wreath.

Don’t these look so real??

And they hold up really well outside.

They hardly fade at all, even in the direct sunlight.

I have this obsession with sticking things out side in the bushes.

Most of them are garden ornaments.

Including this new one I got at the Gypsy Caravan last month.

But I also added this little wooden Sam that originally sat on the porch.

Now I know he wont last more than a season or so out here.

But I think he looks cute.

I added a few of the potted geraniums inside.

I also did a tiny bit of tweaking in here.

You may have noticed, I moved my quilted table topper from Kerri, into here.

I also changed the towels out on my drying rack.

I took down the red towels and replaced them with brown and mustard.

Plus I moved Kerri’s pocket towel up to the center.

I like it much better this way.

Swap Goodies From Kerri

Yay! I finally have something exciting to post about!!

Look what came in today's mail….

My swap package from Kerri of The Calico Rabbit.

Oh my gosh, Kerri!!

I love everything!

Kerri sent me a wonderful stitchery pillow cupboard tuck.

I was so thrilled to see this!

I won a Halloween design pillow from her last year and I hated when the season was over and I had to put it away.

Now I have one I can leave out all year long!

This is displayed in my living room.

Please try ignore any dust you may see.

We have construction going on and I try to keep it cleaned up but I'm quickly loosing the battle. ;)

 

A wonderful wooden bowl.

Which I have displayed in my dining room with some of my collection of woodenware.

An adorable hooked rug star.

This I put on my desk in my living room.

It fit perfectly on top of an old book.

You may also notice the wonderful hooked rug hanging from the back of my chair.

That was also a blog win from a while back.

And it was from Lauren of Rugs and Pugs.

I absolutely adore hooked rugs and stitchery’s!

And of course, they have to be two things I can’t seem to master myself. LOL!

 

A cute shelf sitter block.

Which I have displayed in my kitchen window.

A quilt design table topper.

I have this displayed on a table in my living room.

And last but certainly not least…

Kerri made me this adorable towel.

With a pocket for holding dried’s.

How cute is that!

I put this in my breakfast nook.
