Not Enough Hours In The Day!

Don’t you feel that way sometimes?

I sure do.

I don't know where the days go??

One day day it is Monday morning then POOF it is Sunday!

And I swear the older I get the faster the days go by.

When I was young time seemed to drag by.

Not anymore!! :)

This is pretty much just a babbling post.

I don’t really have anything new to show off.

Hopefully soon.

I did get my selling blog finished up.

Well, for the most part.

And I did list goodies in most of the categories.

I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out.

I wanted it to look like my website and it pretty much does.

So Yeah about that!! :)

Thanks again to all my wonderful blogging friends that helped me.

If you haven't stopped by my selling blog yet, you can pop over for a visit by CLICKING HERE.

I’ve worked on the width. I reduced it quite a bit.

But if you still have a problem with it being too wide for you monitor, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

I most definitely want it to be user friendly and having to scroll side to side is not.

I have been thinking about the plans to paint my bathroom white.

I’m not sure it will work.  ???

Here’s why, all my fixtures are bone color (not white).

Do you think that will look bad??

Let me see if I can find a photo of my bath to show what I mean….

Okay, here’s a few….

I’m not sure if you can tell the true color from these.

On my monitor they are appearing kind of white, but they aren’t.

I’m sure most of you know the difference between bone and white, though.

Plus all my cabinets are cherry wood.

Not sure about how that would look white white walls.

And no way would hubby let me even attempt to paint them. :)

I’m still trying to figure out what paint color I should use.

White or a light tan like the rest of my rooms???

If you have any thoughts on the situation, please let me know.

Hubby and I don’t have to work today, so not sure how the day will go.

I would love to spend the day catching up on my blogs.

* I have been reading them as much as possible, just not leaving my normal comments.

Then I would like to spend the rest of my time in my sewing room.

I have a few started projects and would love to be able to get them finished.

I know my hubby, I’m sure there will be a list of “have-to’s” to do instead. ;)

We’ll see…

Also if haven’t done so already, don’t forget to sign up for my giveaway.

You must enter on the actual giveaway post to be counted.

But you can CLICK HERE to pop right over to it.

Last day to enter is next Saturday, Jan. 21st.

Tammy, I redid my bedroom in blues and whites...YEARS ago, I would have NEVER mixed the white and off white...but now the gatherings I have of the different shades of white are sooooo nice!!!! Go for it! You can certainly play off the colors and it will be lovely!!! So farmhouse!!! (or country could go either way!)

White & bone will look lovely together. It is your accessories that will bring together the elegance to these colors. I love your choices.

Have a lovely day ~

i have white walls in a several rooms and I HATE them... just so BLAH.... if youre gonna go "white" Id do a cream or tan or something a bit "warmer" than stark white.... thats just my personal experience.... maybe a white beadboard would give the looke you want instead???

I agree with Elisha, a white bead board would look perfect in a bathroom. I've been to the new blog and it's definitely very user friendly. I enjoyed it very much and you did a terrific job.

Hi Tammy,
I love prims and I love the color white. We painted the upper part of the walls a soft white in our bathroom with a washed out malted milk wall-board on the lower half. I have lots of old pieces and white things in there...and I love it. I also have a dark little cupboard in there. I love how the white and the dark colors play off of each other.
Your selling blog looks great.

Tammy, I don't know how I ever had time to work. I agree, its Monday and then Sunday, and I haven't accomplished half what I wanted too. Life is short, paint your bathroom whatever color makes you happy. I am with hubby, never paint cherry!

Time for me flies by as quickly as it does for you..and the years sure do fly by even quicker. With your bathroom, on choosing a all depends if you want a more serene white on white tone or a pop. I prefer the color you already have, just add some red, but the decision is ultimately yours to make..good luck and take some pics of the final redo. Take care, Janice.

TIme goes by fast here too!!!! I can't beleive we are halfway through January already. I think that if you did your walls in a light tan and the trimming in white your bathroom would look really good. The bone color fixtures would match and you would still have some of the white you are looking for. Everything matches with a light tan. Good luck. -Steph-

When I was young, my father always said 'the older you get, the faster the years go'...boy was he right, I don't know where the last few years have gone! White is always a good color to 'brighten' up areas or to make them look larger....I think as long as there are some other white little items here and there in the room, white paint would work fine! :)

With cherry cabinets, I'd definitely go with cream, assuming you're wanting a neutral. White would be too stark, and light tan would be like every other room in the house.

Can't wait to see what you end up doing with it...

It's comforting to know that I am not the only one feeling like I somehow am on the "fast train" and can't keep up. I truly don't know how I used to work full-time+, keep up with the house and laundry, and still found time to read and craft and garden. Yikes. I'm beginning to scare myself. I'm sorta struggling with similar issues in my bath....It's a very small room and has the original wall paper on it that desperately needs replacing - but the cabinet, cupboard door, ceiling, trimwork, etc. is all wood, the fixtures are white/off-white, and we have a ghastly peachy/fleshtone counter top. Absolutely NOTHING is looking right with it. I've thought about doing a faux finish - with a neutral off-white background and some rag rolling or sponging in a warmer tanish color. Since I don't do paint (and our last faux finish project we hired out was a disaster), I dunno. Hence why it still isn't done! My other thought was just differing tones of whtie and off-white - so, yeah - I think something from the white family would work in yours....Good luck! Can't wait to see what you come up with.
