Oh, Pooh!!! :(

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

Well, they were pretty while they lasted!! LOL!!

Yes, yesterday my gorgeous blooms stood proudly in the baskets…

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

So pretty and full!!

Then I went to bed and woke up to this…

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

Oh, NO!!!

Yes, I knew they would wilt and shrink, I just didn't expect it to be so quickly.

Poor little things!!! :(

I’m hoping they actually dry and don’t fall apart completely.

Only time will tell I guess.

So there they sit, still proudly displayed in my living room.

I don't have the heart to throw them out.

I am considering adding more to the basket, let them shrink, then add more, etc., until the basket is full again.

Who knows! Maybe.

All I can say is…

At least Wheezy didn't eat them!! :)

What a shame! They were so beautiful. Hang them upside down to dry and replace them with fresh ones.

They were so pretty. I too have heard to hang them upside down and let them dry thoroughly then you can display them again.

Wow that did happen fast. They were very beautiful for a little bit. i think the filling of the basket is a good idea. Let us know how it goes.

Sorry to see your beautiful flowers have wilted. Go pick some more and hang them upside down in the garage to dry and then bring them in and spray them with hairspray to keep the dust off. Good luck next time.

hi, Tammy~ Just a suggestion you can try or not~wait until the mature a little more~ then hang them in a cool(not damp) dark place, separate them so they keep their fullness( so they don't mush each other) they will be beautiful in a couple months~ dry but they will last~

They don't last long do they? So sad. So glad that you got pics when you did. You can always look at the pics, can't take those away from you. Blessings ~Sara
