Painting The Kitchen Today

APP ~Tammy

Yes, that is my plan.

If I would quit getting called out to work!! :(

I have taken everything down off the walls.

I still need to clean off the counters and the upper portion of cabinets, and then I will be ready to start.

Why am I painting it??

I'm just in the mood for a change.

I do love the color it is, but it has been like this for years.

With Spring, sun shine and warmth, I’m ready to lighten it up in there.

Its only paint, if I hate it, I can always paint it back.

So here is basically what it looks like now…

I will be sure to show before and after’s when I get it finished. ;)

Okay… I’m off to get started.

I lOVE painting! Is there anything better than a fresh new coat of paint to make a room feel and look completely different and new? My biggest issue with painting is picking the color. My husband also likes to have a say...and we always butt heads over the color of rooms. haha. Have fun, and can't wait to see the color you picked! (The old color is lovely, by the way.)

we painted the woodwork in our kitchen last Fall after having the same color..(which I also still loved) for almost 30 years. Nice change and I love the new color just as well! Can't wait to see yours done!

I love change too...although I haven't had wall color change in about 15 years. Mainly because my husband doesn't like to paint so it's up to me and this ole body isn't up to it anymore.
I really love the color it is - but will be anxious to see the great new changes.

Hey Tam, I am so happy to hear you are doing another project but that is a HUGE project. I can't wait to see what color you pick, I know whatever color you pick I am going to LOVE!
My swap patner Pam got her swap and she is a sweet lady. I really enjoyed getting to know her.

Went to the doctor's today and had blood work done and some other tests. I am feeling better but have a road ahead of me, Ken is my ROCK. Tam I don't know what I do without him.
Thanks for your prayers and thoughts.
Love ya girlie!!!

Have fun painting. I can't wait to see the before and after pictures!

Spring Blessings and Hugs,

Good luck with your painting project and I hope you get to finish in a timely fashion. I love new projects but hate having everything torn up in the process. Can't wait to see the end result!! What is the old color? LOVE that, too. You have such awesome taste and are an inspiration to others!
