Staircase 99% Done But…

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

I cant wait any longer to show it off!!! LOL!! :)

Yes, Finally after 1 year, my staircase is 99% done.

The only thing we have left is to take wood putty and go over the tiny nail holes.

Also there are some areas that we have to touch up with stain because the stairs had to be cut down.

So, if you notice any of it, please ignore.

My excitement wouldn't let me wait any longer to show it off.   Hehhee.

I LOVE IT!!!

Look how well it matches the flooring!

WTG Hubby!

And it sets off the foyer and living room fabulously!!

If I do say so myself. ;)

Don't ask me why, but I was against a banister when we built the house.

At the time, I wanted to keep it open.

Big mistake!

Okay, here are some before and after’s…

One post took care of both sides of stair case.

I love it too, beautiful with the wood and nice to have a full banister coming down. We have black iron and I am sick of mine too.

I can see why you are so proud of it Tam. It looks wonderful. Love the wood. We still have carpet on ours and I so wish it was gone. Just think, another place you can decorate. Won't it be beautiful decorated for Christmas. You and your mister did a great job. Now sit back and enjoy it.

Oh my heavens, is it gorgeous!
What a difference from the carpeting.
We had the same thing when we built, carpeting on the stairs.
It truly looks magnificent, Tam
