House Hunting

fs

I know it may be a little too soon, especially since we don’t have an actual buyer yet, but…

It helps to look and see what is out there.

Hubby and I, between finishing projects around here (which we have actually finished quite a few), went driving around looking at properties For Sale.

We have found 2 we are interested in.

We looked, drove and discussed things.

Day dreaming, I guess you could call it.

Saying things like, we could do this or that, we could add this or that, I like this about it, or don't like that about it, etc.

It is a fun way to pass the time, plus for me I like concentrating on the future instead of dwelling on what I will be leaving behind.

Any way, back to the 2 properties…

One is out in the country.

Love that idea.  It sits on an acre and half, love that too!

Plus has a pool! A plus for me, not so much for Hubby. :)

Smaller than the house we own, Yes, both houses are much smaller, but oh well, we don't need all the space anyway.

The second one is more in town, but on the outskirts.

It sits on almost an acre.

It is an older home but it has been completely remolded inside.

Love the yard but most of all love the kitchen.

Shhh! Here are some photos I borrowed of it ;)

Isn’t is so pretty!

And yes, I can just see it decorated up in my Prim Farmhouse style!! :)

We are going to try to set up times to look at both properties.

But with our work schedule and the things we need to get accomplished before next weekend, I’m not exactly sure when that will be.

I’ll keep ya posted.

Tomorrow is paint the basement day!!

Yes, that same space that has been half done for approx. 3 years now. Heehee!!

Sad but true!

Tomorrow it is on our must do this!

Hopefully work will leave me alone so I can actually get it finished.

I am dreading it though.

I have have painted, and painted, and painted lately!

I swear when all of this is finally finished, I may never paint again! :)

Heading off to bed, I must rest this very sore body before I have to get up and start all over again.

Thanks for stopping by!

Take Care and Talk Soon…

Tam

Morning Tammy,
I must say I like your attitude going into this new venture.
Sounds very exciting but at the same time all that work getting your house ready...we would have to do some updating to ours if it went on the market...it's okay for us to live in but someone else would expect some changes on some things. Guess that's part of selling.
I wish you luck - the kitchen in the house looks awesome...nice and large and I love 'eat in kitchens'.

Tam, I have done the same thing. I can't buy until I sell, but found this wonderful old home on a hill overlooking the town of Clinton, that I fell in love with. I am praying for you. god has a plan for both of us. If mine don't sell I can live here the rest of my life, happily. If you read my blog, you know I am in the 4th quarter.lol

Tammy, I know that this has been a difficult decision but all things will fall into place. We've many times due to hubby's career and our joke is that I can go from looking at a house to moved in and furnished in 5 minutes flat! That positive attitude will be what carries you thru this time.

Tammy,
You know, you have to do what is best for you and your family. It sounds like you are on the right track!
whatever you do, we will be along for the journey with you. When it's in Gods' plan, things always work out!
Sounds like you are keeping that in your perspective. That is the best way to go!
Have a nice weekend.
