Hello All My Blogging Buddies!
A couple of days ago, I was able to finish up a couple of new, handmade by me, pillows.
They are currently listed in My Etsy Shop.
I admit, this first one is my favorite.
I absolutely love the way it turned out.
Nice large size, measuring approx. 27" long by 14.5" tall.
Handmade by me.
I used a vintage, cotton, Oats, Feed Sack for the center.
For the front sides, old homespun blue and white checked fabric, that was originally on the back of an antique quilt.
Across the top and bottom of the front, I used vintage, old, blue and white ticking fabric.
Perfect for any primitive or farmhouse decor.

Next is an another wonderful pillow made from a vintage sampler and fabric.
Vintage textiles used to make this adorable pillow.

It has been awhile since I had time to just lock myself away in my sewing room and it felt good.
Sometimes you just have to forget about all the “stuff” in life and find at least a few hours for “You”, don’t ya think?! :)
I also have decided to join in on Amy's homespun ornie swap.
I’m so excited to get started! I am hoping to begin that tonight.
I missed out on her previous one, so when I saw that she was hosting another, I knew I had to join in!
I just LOVE primitive ornie swaps!
If you would like to read more about the swap, CLICK HERE to pop over the Amy’s post, read the rules, and hopefully join in.
It is going to be so much fun.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
