"A New Appreciation" ~ ~ Misi’s Display Chain

Hello All!

I am actually home and not too exhausted, so I decided to join in on Misi's Display Chain.

To learn more about this week Display Chain Challenge and see who all entered, CLICK HERE.

Well, if you follow my blog it will be no surprise that my new Appreciation or should I say Obsession is…

White!

Mainly White stoneware and ironstone, but I actually have painted my basement walls white too.

This is a big deal for me because not since Hubby and I rented an apartment many, many, moons ag0 have I had white walls.

Any who…

Most of these pictures you may have seen before.

Okay, who am I kidding, all of them I have posted before but when I noticed the theme of this weeks display chain, I decided to share them again.

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

This is some of my collection of white crocks and stoneware.

My newest find being the large bowl shown above.

BELOW:

I want to find more white stoneware molds.  So far I have a collection of 2, but I’m hoping they will have lots of babies soon!  :)

This is an older photo, I recently did some tweaking to this cabinet display.

Hopefully, I remember to show it off soon.

BELOW are some of my favorite photos of my White basement.

A few of my white pieces I have had for many years, like this churn below…

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

ABOVE: this is an old photo of the dining room, but do you see the large white stoneware butter churn?

That is probably one of my oldest pieces, as in I have owned it the longest.

It was originally my Moms but somehow it made its way to my house.

ABOVE: This is one of my favorite Longest Yard Sale finds.  I found this wonderful table top churn a few years back.

Then also there is my small collection of 3 cheese crocks.

See somehow I always had a soft spot for White but not until recently did I start to really appreciate it.

I have even gotten to the point where I like my photos to be White. :)

I am really enjoying trying to find ways to mix a little more White into my decor.

Thanks so much to Misi for hosting this display chain and thank you to All of you for stopping by!

Now off to bed for me.

Take Care and Talk Soon,

zTam

Very pretty, Tammy! I love my red so much, that I don't think I could give it up to go for the "white look". I really do enjoy seeing it in others homes. I think that farmhouse white look is so crisp and clean just like Cindi said. You've done it well!

Enjoy your day! :)

Your white is very pretty!! When done right, as you have done, white is pretty! Whoever painted the white trim in my kitchen didn't do pretty white...they did glossy bright white!!!
Your displays are wonderful!!

Beautiful 'whites' Tammy.
I'm so afraid to change so drastically but I sure do commend anyone who does.
Your changes have been so beautiful.
