Christmas Decor Part Two ~ 2012 ~ Serious Picture Overload!

A Primitive Place ~Tammy

Hi All!

WOW! Two posts in one day!!

I couldn't help myself, I was excited to get on and share more pictures.

:)

Not a lot of chit chat in this post, just Tons Of Photos!!

I do want to point out again, all the photos have been edited at befunky.com.

So, please know that my walls, cabinets, etc. aren't filthy dirty, that is an aging edit I used at befunky to make the photos look old. :)

If you missed Part One you can…

Okay, lets step out of the Foyer and into the Living Room…

I am really needing a new tree in here.  This one is about 10 years old and getting quite dated.  I am hoping by next year I can get a wonderful large twig tree.

Hanging on to hope and prayer that my life will be settled down by then.  :)

I really do love the way I have this tree decorated though.

It is filled mainly with homemade ornies from all my blogging friends.

I also wrap this tree with grapevine to try to give it more of a rustic prim feel.

Next is something else I treasure.

It isn’t prim in any way, but we got it on a family trip to TN a few years ago…

The little hats have all our names wrote across them.

Cant help it, this just makes me smile! :)

Snowman was a blog giveaway win and was made by Brenda @ The Rusty Thimble.

I placed inside my wonderful crock that was a gift from Marie @ Primitives By Olde Lady Morgan.

Since I took my cradle up to my booth, I needed a place to display my vintage Santa collection.

So, I went out to the garage and got this large vintage wash tub that was in there.

What do you think??

Kind of cute, huh!! :)

I love the way you grouped and placed your vintage santas together at the base of one of your Christmas trees. Hi Tammy,
You have everything decorated so primitively perfect!
I just love how your collection of Santas are gathered in the bucket!
Those old and worn bears are darling too! Oh heck, it all is so wonderful!
Thank you for sharing all of your eye candy.
Since living with my daughter and her husband I don't display much of my collections. They don't enjoy it like I do.
It sure gives me pleasure to see how others have decorated primitively.

Hugs, Audrey

Well, all I can say is, I'm glad I didn't stay up all night last night to try to take this in....I couldn't possibly have absorbed it all. WOW!!! LOVE it all....but, gotta say (beside those awesome buttocks baskets of yours), I think my fave is the tree tub with the vintage Santas....you don't know how many times I've looked at them and just said no - thinking they'd keep me up at night....but somehow, yours aren't spooky!! And I adore how you have them displayed!! Thank you for taking the time to take all these wonderful photos, edit them, upload them, and share them with us...no small task - but so appreciated on our end! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Hi Tammy: My heart is hurting! I don't know how I missed seeing you all these months. I used to decorate with primitives, although not as extensive as yours, but I had a shop and made ceramics and a lot of fabric items, but gave it up when I became a "Victorian" lady. Every time I see it I miss it and I still look through all my old issues of Country Home and Early American Life (before your time, I'm sure). But now I will live through you as I am your new follower and would like to invite you to the Cottage where you might see a bit of primitive still hanging on..Happy Friday..Judy

P.S. I was so excited to find you that I forgot to tell you how great your home and Christmas decorations look. Just beautiful..Happy Friday again, Judy
