Surprises In The Mail ☺♥

APP ~Tammy

Hello All!

I apologize for not being around lately.

I did end up coming down sick.

Not the Flu, Thank God!  But still enough of something to make me feel icky.

And during this time was the tragedy in Newtown.

It affected me deeply.

I was so sad inside for days.  I didn't feel like being online.

I’m sure many of you can relate.

I still cant watch or read any news about it without tearing up.

Please continue to pray for all these families.

I did happen to get a few surprises in the mail that brought much needed smiles to face.

First was from sweet Tricia @ Hillcrest Home Prims.

I went out to the mail box one day and inside was the wonderful card from her and Ken.

Also tucked inside the card were these adorable stocking ornies.

They go perfectly on my Foyer tree!

A few days later I received this sweet card from Mary @ Marmmies, Mammies, And More.

Thank you so much for thinking of me, Mary!!

Thank you for bringing a much needed smile to my face!! :)

And then…

Later that day, the mailman left a package on my front porch!!

More goodies from Tricia!!!

Oh my goodness, Trish, you Spoil me!!

Look at these wonderful treasures she sent.

I adore this mustard dressed Santa!

He is an ornament but with my wood floors I worried the cat would knock him off and break him, so I have placed him here.

On the desk in my living room.

She also included this adorable snowman head ornies, which I have displayed on my Dining Room tree.

The peppermint, white chocolate I quickly displayed in my tummy!! :)

Thank you so much, Trish!!

I also wanted to let you know that I have sent you 3 emails and they keep getting returned unable to deliver.

2  came back, I hope you got #3.  I don’t want you to think I’m ignoring you.

Thank you so much for you kindness, my sweet friend.

You gifts lifted my spirits more than you know.

Thank you for thinking of me.

~ Big Hug! ~

Lastly, I wanted to share a wonderful, old, white, stoneware mug I found the other day at Goodwill.

I love its handle!

I have put it in with my slowly growing collection in my breakfast nook.

Well, that’s it for me tonight.

It is almost midnight here in Southern IL.  Time for Bed.

I’m not sure if I will be around much before Christmas.

Lots of stuff still to get done, plus we have tons of things planned starting the 23rd thru the 25th.

So, just incase…

I wish you all A Very Merry Christmas and Wonderfully Blessed New Year!!!

Take Care and thanks so much for stopping by to visit with me,

Hi Tam, I am so happy you love your goodies. The Santa ornament is a Belsnickle, they are new this year they made them in all the colors for the Christmas tree. I am glad you put it where you did and I am so happy you love your goodies.
I told Ken that you have emailed me 3 or 4 times and it also this has happend to someone else, but then I have gotten emails from other's. Ken is going to check into it this weekend.
I emailed you too, I am sure you did get them I knew you had to be sick and then after the tragic, evil events that happend we only live 2hours away from Newtown, CT.,it has been a shock and tears and I have had a VERY heavy heart for theses families and NOW I am sick, a BAD head cold and sore throat that just has gotten worse and a MAJOR headache as I am writing this.
I could have done this by email but it isn't working.Don't worry Ken is on it this weekend, LOL!!!!
Merry CHRISTmas my sweet, loving and caring friend, I am blessed to have your friendship that is the BEST gift I could ask for!OH, I hope you are feeling better. The older we get the harder it is to hop on your feet because right I feel like a truck hit me.
Love ya,
