A Primitive Place ~ Tammy

Hello Everyone!

Finally I am starting to feel better.

Hubby and I have been sick for over a week.

I don’t think I can ever remember feeling this bad, for this Long!

Today I can Finally say, I think it almost over.

A Primitive Place ~ Tammy

I’m still going to take it easy one more day.

Because a few days ago I thought I was over it, got up cleaned and worked on some stuff,

By that night, POOF, I was sick again, Really Sick.

I over did it and landed on the couch for two days straight, unable move.

So today, I must not let myself.

And let me tell you, it is more difficult than it sounds.

After being sick for so long, all I want is to get up and “Do Stuff” !

The house is a wreck, I’m so tired of just laying I could Scream.

I must give it one more day though, because I most definitely don't want a relapse, Again.

Since it has been so long since I have posted I did want to pop in to say Hello and share a couple of things.

Some of you may remember when I talked about the first design contest Kortney won.

It was for the “Pink Out” game and that it would be awhile before that shirt came in.

Well, it has arrived.

Here is the shirt she designed…

She was a little bummed that they changed the coloring somewhat.

The HHS and basketball were suppose to be orange, instead of pink.

I told her, they might have done that to keep the cost down.

I’m just guessing here, but I would say they more colors used, the higher the price to produce them.

It still looks great though!

She did an excellent job on the design.

The next thing I wanted to share is awhile back I joined in on a Pay It Forward Mandy @ Bittersweet Folk Art and Primitives was hosting.

Last week my adorable PIF gift arrived.

A sweet sock kitty, handmade by Mandy…

Thank you so much, Mandy!

I must get started on some of my PIF packages.

I promise ladies, I haven’t forgotten about ya. :)

I am hoping by next week to have the 1st of the 5 packages mailed out.

I’ve just been trying to think up some things to send.

I would like each package to be different, so I’m trying to decide what to send.

Tiff was the first to sign up, so her package will be the first I send out.

I do have some ideas for her, now I just need to get well and find the time to get them finished.

I will be sure to share what I send out once they are received.

I think this is going to be a lot of fun as long as I can keep my emotions in check and don’t allow myself to get stressed.

I have all year to get them all out.

FUN that’s the name of the game.

Packages Fun for me to come up with and Fun for them to receive. :)

Well, I guess that’s it from me for now.

Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting with me.

Oh, and incase you are were wondering…

The decor photos are just some random shots I took before I got too sick.

Not really anything new, just playing around one day. :)

Good evening Tammy, I am happy to read you're feeling better. I too experienced the same set back, it took me a good two weeks to overcome the "tired" feeling. I just wanted to get up and get busy...hang in there, spring is coming, I hope! Blessings, Julie.

Good to hear you are getting better. The bug that is going around this year is NASTY. Take care.

The T-shirt looks great!

So good that you are up and around again. This bug is supposed to be a new strain so the flu shots didn't all work this year. No wonder you felt so bad.
I enjoyed the photos a lot, and the tee-shirt is awesome.

Good morning Tammy,
Oh yes take another day - it's just another day! Everything that is there will still be there tomorrow or the next.
I did that a few weeks ago thinking my back could handle 'dusting' the house...WRONG...all that movement put me down for 2 days.
Love all your random pictures...never get tired of them.

Love the photographs, Tammy! And, yes take at least another day--or two--or three. I got the flu Christmas Day but continued to work and "do". . .Well, it was a good 6 weeks before I quit coughing! So, take care of yourself!
