Kitchen Window Shelf

A Primitive Place ~ Tammy

Hello Everyone!

I am still busy trying to freshen up my kitchen.

I’m anxiously waiting for payday so I can go pick up something else I have planned to do in here.

But for now…

I am pretty proud that I actually accomplished to get my shelf up.

I am pleased with it.

No it is not perfect, which my hubby is quick point out, but I don’t care.

I like it!

And I know babe, I can’t put anything too heavy up there because it is only hanging with L Brackets.

The spindle ends are for decoration only.

I found them in a cabinet and decided to use them to pretty up the shelf.

They are screen door trim, not porch trim, so they definitely can’t help in holding anything.

Once again, I don’t care…

I like them. :)  Heehee!

I’m picking on my Hubby a bit too much.

Actually when I got it all done he said,

“You know, it actually doesn't look half bad.”

*Trust me friends, for him, that is a compliment.

I have finished up a little tweaking here and there this week.

I will be back soon to share photos of those.

I’m struggling somewhat trying to achieve exactly the look I wanting but I know it will take time.

Right now I’m working with stuff that I already have on hand.

With time, I’ll be able to pick up more pieces and I will slowly work transforming everything to reflect what is in my thoughts for the space.

I think that’s FuN part!

I love it!! As soon as I seen your window it reminded me of my own kitchen view looking out. I love everything about how you've styled around it. Beautiful!! Also love how your window is trimmed out in wood. And the curtains are great too. Gosh, I'm going to show my hubby what you've done with that area. I may just convince him that we should create something similar. Visiting you from WOW
