This is a primitive old Doll Quilt. Crazy Quilt. Hand Tied or String Quilt. It measures slightly less than 19" by 19". The backing fabic may have been replaced at sometime. To me, it feels as though there is another layer of fabric under the backing. But I can not say for certain. Top fabrics do have wear and damage, as can be seen in photo. Early 1900s Cutter Quilt
This is an early 1900's summer quilt. It is in cutter condition. It does have holes and worn fabrics, frayed edges and fading. This is a perfect for quilt for your primitive crafts or for cupboard display. The blue portion of the quilt is made from early, tiny blue and white calico fabrics. This quilt is hand stitched, hand quilted. 6 stitches per 1". The quilt measures aprox. 73" by 83". Please click on photo for a view of the back of quilt.
